Exhibitor Information
The Austin Public Library Friends Foundation, in a close partnership with BookPeople, is pleased to present the Austin Teen Book Festival, a one-day event that celebrates the teen reading experience by inviting teens to visit with many of the most popular and critically acclaimed Young Adult authors in the country. Now in its fifth year, the Austin Teen Book Festival is one the largest festivals of its kind in the country, featuring over 35 authors with an expected attendance of nearly 5,000 teens, parents, grandparents, teachers and librarians.
The Austin Public Library Friends Foundation, which hosts the event each year, invites local cultural, education, and literacy organizations to join the festival as exhibitors. This is an opportunity to meet thousands of teens and share with them information about how they can become engaged in cultural activities around town. Individual authors interested in participating in the festival should contact the Director at AustinTBF@gmail.com.
